Hi, my name is Kaylee and I tell stories through the pieces of you that become a part of me.
The Art of It All
My journey into photography began with a fascination for the stories that make us who we are. I believe we all carry pieces of the people we meet, the moments we share, and the lives that intertwine with our own. I'm drawn to the spaces between, the unspoken emotion, and the fleeting moments that leave a little piece of someone with us. Through my lens, I capture not just your story, but the pieces of all of us that uniquely make it yours.

Mission Sunset
If there’s one thing I’ll never get tired of, it’s watching God paint the sky in beautiful colors and seeing how those colors have a way of making everyone slow down and take it all in.
I have a way of doing everything in my power to make sure I see a sunset if I know it'll be a good one. I’m so thankful that some of my favorites have happened right in my own backyard!

Life Post Grad
My long term dream is to find my place in the events and hospitality industry, and I hope photography will help me get there.
Until then, I’m making the most of the journey by trying new things, chasing new experiences, and spending as much time as I can with family and friends.

Pieces of Home
I am a Southern Maryland local, born and raised! I have always loved growing up on the Potomac River and getting to experience a slower lifestyle.
To give you an idea of how I was raised, think bluegrass, tractors, and bonfires. I was made to be a girly girl who also grew up getting into mud fights with her younger brother so I like to think I got the best of both worlds!

My JMU Story
As a 2026 graduate, I couldn’t be more thankful for the experience. Through all the ups and downs, I walked away with a best friend who made the entire journey worth it.
While at JMU, I studied both Sociology and Media Design (shoutout SMAD), and I loved seeing how the two overlapped. I love people, and I love being creative, so getting to bring both interests into my studies helped me better understand others while continuing to grow and perfect my craft.
