COPYWRITING FOR ADVERTISING
Welcome to studying the principles and practices of developing creative copy for advertising and examining how to solve client problems by writing persuasive stories. With a focus on writing scripts for TV and radio commercials, print ads, headlines, taglines, jingles, web copy, out of home ads, new media, and social media, I was able to gain more copywriting skills.
OVERVIEW
Totes is a rainwear brand that sells products like umbrellas, boots, and jackets perfect for a rainy day. With the target audience of color blind individuals, we wanted to be equally representative as educational. With an emotional appeal intended, we curated a testimony from two sisters where one was color blind and the other was not. We also included the different kinds of color blindness to remain inclusive.

REFLECTION
I was able to educate myself on the topic of colorblindness and how it affects significantly more men than women. Choosing to showcase women in this advertisement was to acknowledge that even though there are less women who struggle, their representation is just as important. I was able to use Adobe Photoshop to create this entire design with majority of the practice going into mask isolation.
